Sweetopia(r) has finally tiptoed into the world of yeast and is smitten with the challenge of making gluten-free, nut-free, preservative-free & dye-free bread and rolls that texturally excellent and with just the right balance of taste where you know it's a roll made with yeast but it doesn't knock you over the head it. Moreover, the roll and bread need to hold up in a frozen state and thawed where you can't tell the roll was ever frozen.
These sliders are made the same way as the sandwich rolls (English muffin style), smaller and a little thinner in diameter but made with the same ingredients as the Dinner Rolls (yeasted) and with the same light density and moisture. They freeze well and thaw equally as well without any change in taste or texture from its original state. They are excellent anyway you wish to serve them - as an open face appetizer or sandwich style with one of your favorite fillings in between. They are "simply" delightful and ...just plain um um good!
Sliders are approximately 3 inches round with each half and about 1/4 inch thick) and are sold in packs of 4. I need 3-4 business days notice from time of order to pick-up.
