This all natural gluten-free, nut-free, preservative-free and dye-free scone is luscious, light and buttery crisp in texture with an added infusion of herbs (oregano, thyme, chives) and cheddar cheese. It’s made with good old fashioned ingredients like lots of butter, egg, cream, sea salt, wee bit of sugar (savory scones are not meant to be too sweet) and finally, a dollop of sour cream. It’s finished off with an cream-egg wash. Try a gentle warm of the scone in the microwave oven at 20% power for 15 or so seconds and then split into for a generous slathering of butter. Now your talking...um um good with a cuppa hot tea or coffee - anytime of the day. Scone shown is in mini form. Scones may be available in standard scone size (~3 - 1/2") or mini (petite 2" size).
