It all begins with my wonderful twice-baked vanilla shortbread cookie crust that houses the main event of fresh pear slivers and Maine organic cranberries lightly sweetened with a touch of honey and fresh orange zest and is perfectly topped off with a light spice crumble with a hint of cinnamon and allspice. It’s a perfect balance of sweet and tart and basic ingredients when combined become anything but ordinary! It’s blends well and is a “Pearfect” ending to any brunch, lunch or dinner menu selection.
