This all natural, GF & nut-free, semi-soft and chewy textured cookie is a traditional style oatmeal raisin cookie with a good portion of plump raisins (and at times the addition of currants - the cousin of the raisin; dried black corinth grapes and wee ones of the grape group), gluten-free old fashioned rolled oats and essence of vanilla, giving it just the right level of texture and sweetness. It's a perfect pick-me-up cookie anytime but especially when you're feeling you just "didn't come out quite even" after a meal and want a little something extra but not too heavy.
