This french inspired named cake begins with a 3 layer vanilla sponge-style cake with an assortment of fresh berries throughout each layer and finished with a layer of the fruit around the top cake edges. Each layer is lightly basted with my vanilla syrup and upon that is a good basting of one of my artisan fruit compotes. In this cake I used my blueberry compote. Next comes a generous portion of the chantilly cream, or " la crème Chantilly
," frosting that ever-so-light made with the foundational elements of whipped cream, mascarpone cheese, cream cheese & pure vanilla that results in just the right amount "a hint" of sweetness. This one is not only a show-stopper but all of the assundry elements come to together perfectly for a truly enjoyable and refreshing dessert - from the sponge-style vanilla cake to the fruit compote, fresh berries and the crème de la crème finish of the chantilly cream frosting the You can't go wrong with this one. This cake comes in 3 sizes: 6 inch, 9 inch and 10 inch. Price is complete with fruit compote, fresh berries and frosting.Please note that the price of berries can fluctuate depending on the time of year/season and where I can purchase them locally most affordably. They are purchased fresh and placed on and throughout the cake a few hours before customer picks up the cake. I am a stickler for details being just right as well as freshness and this goes for all of my creations! This cake is not stocked so please allow 4-5 business days from time of order.
