Merriam-Webster dictionary has defined "thought" "as the act of carefully thinking about the details of something."** No truer definition could be applicable to Sweetopia™, as over these past 2 years she has morphed from a strong-visioned conception to what is today, a rock-solid business reality. That didn't result from happenstance but with unwaivering resolve and boldness.
In my many years of corporate and personal business experience I have had colleagues and business acquaintances share that they wished they had taken a different career path or would like to have started a business but at this juncture in their life, were afraid to do so.
Thinking back on my diverse experiences and the past 2 years, I came across some ancient proverbs that embodies characteristics that hopefully will be a source of inspiration to you the reader and potential customer because for Sweetopia™, Get Your Sweet On® is more than a slogan, it is the very heart, soul, sweat, energy, and creativity that coalesces in perfect harmony, time after time, to produce and deliver her incomparable GF sweets.
“A closed mind is like a closed book; just a block of wood” Chinese proverb.  It is so important whether you are in business or not, to keep an open mind. Doing so, keeps rigidity at bay and fosters growth of spirit and understanding.
"March to the beat of your own drum” Chinese proverb.  You will be amazed at the unexpected joy and rhythm that may result.
"Be not afraid of growing slowly, be afraid only of standing still” Chinese proverb.   There are times when it makes sense to stand still but don’t’ let the fear of the unknown paralyze you from taking a step forward.
"A wise man hears one word and understands two" Chinese proverb.  Always be willing to listen, for listening can open the door to understanding, that provides fertile ground for growing in wisdom.
